the Denver Botanic Gardens new research and educational facility makes various elements of horticulture more accessible to visitors. An herbarium with a glazed wall seen immediately upon entering, allows visitors to observe researchers. Gallery spaces as well as an auditorium and a library are also included in this program to further educate. The atrium is constructed with a unique support system of columns designed to branch out resembling trees. This design feature connects visitors to the outside while simultaneously drawing them in.
